This page explains what we collect when you send us files or place an order, what we do with it, and what we don't do. Please also see our Terms of Service.

The short version

Pride Printing uses your information for one thing: to receive the files you send and to talk with you about that job. We do not use your information for marketing, and we do not sell it. If you came from one of our Google ads, we also keep the ad's click ID for that visit so we can measure whether the ad worked.

What you give us

When you use our upload form at https://upload.prideprinting.ink, you give us:

Your name, your email, and your phone number.
Your organization, if you add it.
The files you upload or pick from Dropbox or Google Drive, and a comment on a file if you write one.
A quantity for each file. Finished size and sides if you add them.
Notes about the job, if you write them.
Who at the shop the job is for (Anyone, Jason, Mary, or Rick), if you pick one.
Whether you checked "Text me when this order is ready."

When you order in person, by phone, or by email, we keep the details we need to do the job, such as your name, how to reach you, and what you ordered.

What we do with it

We store your file in a private Google Drive folder under your name. A later file from you goes in that same folder.
A note in the folder keeps your receipt number and the details from the form.
We email a receipt to you. We email the shop so we can open the job.
Jason, Rick, and Mary can open the folder.
We use your contact details to ask questions about the job, tell you it's ready, and bill you.
If you send a note about a problem or an idea on the upload page, that note keeps your name, your email, and what you wrote in the shop app so we can answer it.

Adding files from Dropbox or Google Drive

On the upload form, you can add files from your Dropbox or Google Drive, or paste a Dropbox or Google Drive share link.

When you pick files, Dropbox or Google asks you to sign in. We get only the files you pick. We do not get the rest of your account. With Google Drive, we can open only the files you pick (Google calls this the "drive.file" permission).
Our server copies each file into the same private Google Drive folder as any other upload.
Google gives us an access key that lasts about an hour. We do not save it, and we ask Google to cancel it once your files are in.
With Dropbox, we get a temporary download link for each file you pick. It expires within a few hours, and we do not save it.
A pasted share link does not need you to sign in. It works only if the link is shared so anyone with it can open it, and our server downloads just that one file.

Who else touches your information

We do not post your file or your details on our website, and we do not give them to anyone outside Pride Printing to use for their own purposes. We do use a few service providers to run the shop's tools:

Google stores your files (Google Drive) and sends the receipt and shop note (Google email). If you pick files from your own Google Drive, Google handles your sign-in under its own privacy policy.
Google Ads receives the click IDs of ads that led to a job, and handles calls placed through the number in our ads.
Dropbox lets you pick files from your Dropbox account, if you choose to. Dropbox handles your sign-in under its own privacy policy.
Cloudflare runs a browser check when you press Send (and when you send a note about the page). That check does not include your name, your file, or your note.
Square processes invoice payments. If you pay through a Square link, Square handles your card details under its own privacy policy. We do not see or store your full card number.
Voxtelesys delivers our text messages, if you choose to get texts. It receives your phone number and the message so it can deliver it.

We may also share information if the law requires it.

Our Google ads

We advertise on Google. If you reach us through one of our Google ads:

Google adds a random code called a click ID to our web address. We keep that code in your browser for the visit only (session storage, not a cookie). If you then send files through our upload form, we save that click ID with your job. We delete those stored click IDs after 90 days.
About once a month, we send Google a list of the click IDs that turned into jobs, with the date. That list does not include your name, email, phone number, files, or job details.
If you call the phone number shown in our ad, Google connects the call through a forwarding number and keeps call details, such as the time, how long it lasted, and your area code, under its own privacy policy.
We use this only to see which ads bring in real jobs. We do not use Google's website tag, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies, and we do not build ad audiences or remarketing lists (ads that follow you around the web) from your information.

Texts (SMS Program)

Texting is optional. You do not have to agree to texts to place an order.

How you opt in: On the upload form, check the box "Text me when this order is ready." It starts unchecked. The note under it says: "Up to two texts about this order. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help."
What we send: A text saying your order is ready for pickup, or a text with the link to pay your invoice. These are about your order only. They are not marketing.
How many: Up to two texts per opted-in order. A later file the same day uses that same yes. The next day, the form asks again.

Costs: Message and data rates may apply.
Stop: Reply STOP to cancel later texts. A new job can ask again after that.
Help: Reply HELP for help, or call 906-228-8182, Mon–Fri 9:00–5:00.
Orders placed by walk-in, phone, or email are not texted. You can also ask us to mark "Do not text this number."
Your number is not sold or shared for marketing. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or your text opt-in with anyone for their marketing. Text opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties, except the provider that delivers the texts for us.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

What we do not do

We do not use your name, email, phone, organization, notes, file comments, job details, files, or a note about the upload page for marketing. That includes mailings and lists inside the shop. We do not sell this information.

Cookies and this website

Our website does not use advertising cookies or Google Analytics. We use Plausible Analytics on prideprinting.ink and upload.prideprinting.ink to count visits. Plausible runs through our own address (analytics.prideprinting.ink), does not use cookies, and does not sell your data. We do not build ad audiences or remarketing lists from your visits.

When you press Send on the upload form, a Cloudflare browser check runs. For about an hour we count how many uploads come from one network address, so the form cannot be flooded. We do not save that address with your job.

How long we keep it

We keep your files and the job note so we can print the job and find it if you send another one. There is no automatic deletion date.

Click IDs saved with a job are deleted after 90 days.

Children

Our website and services are meant for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, call us and we'll remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
